We are Planetary People

New York City's Planetary People create a dynamic fusion of funk, jazz, hip-hop, and more—grooves from space from your new favorite extraterrestrials.

Formed in 2014, the band found new momentum in 2020 with their #planetarytransmissions project, releasing a new song and video every week during the COVID-19 lockdown. All tracks were written, recorded remotely, and mixed to perfection. Their full catalog is available on YouTube and Spotify.

Their debut album, Brace for Impact, recorded by Luis Bacque and released in November 2024, features 10 original tracks, including a collaboration with vocalist Caleb Hawley.
